What is important to know when working with these gel polishes?
Due to the high pigmentation of the gel polishes, a certified 48W hybrid lamp is required for proper polymerisation. The lamp should be no older than 4–6 months and meet the required technical parameters. Polymerise each layer for 60 seconds.
When applying gel polish over a base coat, be sure to remove the dispersion (sticky) layer from the base. This ensures smooth and even application.
For dark and intense colours, we recommend using PRO GLOSS TOP. For light colours, use PRO NO WIPE TOP.
Order of application:
Apply the gel polish to a nail that has been primed or modelled with gel or polygel.
If applying over a base coat, remove the dispersion (adhesive) layer with Cleaner. If applying on a modelled nail, ensure the surface is evenly heated.
Apply the gel polish in one or two layers, depending on the chosen technique. Polymerise each layer for 60 seconds in a 48W LED hybrid lamp.
Finish by applying a top coat.
Removal of gel polish:
As the gel polish is soluble, it can be easily removed using a special removal liquid. We recommend filing off most of the product beforehand, leaving only a thin layer to speed up and improve the removal process.
The gel polish can also be removed using an electric file. This should be done carefully and responsibly, using appropriate bits to avoid nail damage.
